About THE DIRECTOR

This is Ileana Ramirez's third production in which she's the director. She directed the Spring play Little Red Robin Hood. She previously directed The Enchanted Lake (El Lago Encantado) in the spring of 2021. She was an assistant director for Cinderella Eats Rice and Beans and Treasure Island Bistro. 

As a company cast member, Ileana appeared in nine plays. She previously appeared in The Super Cilantro Girl, The True Story of the Three Little Pigs, Pinocchio!, Cinderella Eats Rice & Beans, The Jungle Book, Gilgamesh and Aesop’s Fables. 

Ileana, who is also a member of the LightBox Board of Directors, teaches third grade at an elementary school in Turlock and leads a children’s church choir in Spanish. She is a graduate of Stanislaus State with a B.A. in Theatre.
