Carlos is back for his third LightBox Theatre production after previously starring as Tomás in Tomás and the Library Lady. He had made his LightBox debut in the streaming production of The Enchanted Lake (El Lago Encantado) in 2021. A graduate of Stanislaus State, Carlos performed in a handful of shows as a Theatre Arts major. He portrayed the roles of Hector in Roosters and Frederico García Lorra in Yerma, as well as took-part in The Jungle Book. If he could travel back in time, he’d travel to Greece, around 400 BC. There, he’d meet Plato, the Ancient Greek philosopher who told the story of a powerful and advanced civilization called Atlantis and due to people’s greed and corruption the city was destroyed in a catastrophic event.
Guadalupe, a 2023 graduate of Stanislaus State in Theatre Arts, has been fortunate enough to be involved in projects such as: Roosters where she played Alba (Adan) and Rocky Horror Show as Columbia. She will be making her playwright and directorial debut at Prospect Theatre Project’s Artists’ Showcase in August! If she could travel back in time, she would like to witness Prehispanic and Native American civilizations to learn about their astronomical discoveries or sail the seas as a pirate exploring uncharted territories.
