After making his LightBox debut in 2016 in The Super Cilantro Girl, Jessie has served on the Board of Directors and is now the Board President. While attending CSU Stanislaus, Jessie was involved with Chicano Theater and was a founding member of the now defunct El Teatro Los Rayos Del Valle, where he played roles in plays such as Los Vendidos, Soldado Razo, and Latina. In 2004, Jessie was a part of Los Hijos Del Campo and appeared in plays such as Soldado Razo, Los Vendidos, and Las Doz Caras Del Patroncito. He’s also appeared in the production of Tomas and the Library Lady at the Gallo Center for the Arts.
Carlos returns for his second LightBox Theatre production after previously appearing in The Enchanted Lake. A graduate of Stanislaus State with a degree in Theatre, Carlos performed in children's shows such as House at Poo Corner as Rabbit and The Jungle Book as Tabaqui.
Ileana has a B.A. in Theatre from Stanislaus State. This is Ileana’s ninth LightBox production. She previously appeared in The Super Cilantro Girl, The True Story of the Three Little Pigs, Pinocchio!, Cinderella Eats Rice & Beans, The Jungle Book, Gilgamesh and Aesop’s Fables. She also directed last spring’s production of The Enchanted Lake. Ileana teaches third grade at an elementary school in Turlock and leads a children’s church choir in Spanish.
