Jessie Ceja (Felipe/El Santo)

Born and raised in Patterson, Jessie Ceja, Ed.D, grew up in a farm laborer family. While attending CSU Stanislaus, he was involved with Chicano Theater and was a founding member of the now defunct El Teatro Los Rayos Del Valle, where he played roles in plays such as Los Vendidos, Soldado Razo, and Latina. In 2004, Jessie was a part of Los Hijos Del Campo and appeared in plays such as Soldado Razo, Los Vendidos, and Las Doz Caras Del Patroncito. He’s also appeared in the production of Thomas and the Library Lady at the Gallo Center for the Arts. An avid fan of theater, he enjoys trips to the Oregon Shakespearean Festival. Jessie has been an educator in Patterson, a principal at Orestimba High School and a school administrator in Turlock since graduating from Stanislaus State. He currently is the Coordinator of Educational Service in the Ceres Unified School District. Jessie is married to his loving wife, Gina, and has two sons, Troy and Jack. His favorite fruit is Nectarines.
